In June 2021, Igniyte’s Managing Director, Simon Wadsworth spoke to ChinaDaily.com regarding Igniyte’s research study that found 39% of businesses say had been directly affected by fake reviews on platforms such as Google, Trustpilot, Trip Advisor, and Reviews.co.uk during 2021.

He discusses our latest research which showed 68% of businesses in the United Kingdom are worried about getting fake reviews. Simon went on to say,

“Your reputational crisis will likely begin online. Negative reviews and social media comments are a greater threat to your reputation than employee conduct, faulty products, or poor pricing strategies are. Taking control of conversations that are happening online – and taking complaints offline where possible – is my biggest piece of advice. You must care about your brand’s reputation because prospective customers certainly will.”
