Our client – a chief executive in the transport industry – was facing a poor page one of Google results for his name when he came to Igniyte. This page one include six negative links, including national press.
The press stories about him and his company were dominating Google for a search for his name and having a harmful effect on his professional and personal life.
Our aim was to provide the client with the tools he needed to maintain a positive presence online for the long term, and wherever required support him to do this.
We worked with the client to improve his rankings in the search results. We created a new blog, developed a new website, promoted his Twitter profile and other social media accounts.
In a year, our client had a significantly improved page one profile. The majority of page one links are either owned by him directly or feature positive news stories about him, including a Reuters’ news item and various directory listings relating to him directly.
This positive change has reflected on our client personally too, with peace of mind that prospective clients and personal contacts weren’t seeing damaging information about him.
