The client wanted support with the management of their search results in Google, ranking higher for positive and lucrative search terms. The business was also facing unfair comments online, primarily relating to the nature of their business – debt collection.
When we initially began working, the company was facing poor Google search results. Out of the 20 links available on pages one and two of Google results for their key search term, 11 links were negative reviews and forum posts. This was having a harmful effect on the business, and subsequently they were losing business opportunities.
We created and promoted a new website for the company (which is now ranking second in the search results) and professional online profiles. We also promoted industry e-guides and worked on targeted PR. We also initiated a number of successful removal requests for defamatory and unsubstantiated comments.
Our targeted PR secured a number of high profile press articles, including coverage in The Times, Guardian, Yahoo Finance and Reuters. We’ve managed to remove a number of defamatory online comments about the company, and our work promoting the positive content for the company is raising their profile across the relevant digital channels to reach their potential customers.
